Stagnancy

So Spud called me out for not having updated this in awhile.  I had a feeling it might end up that way...the initial surge of blogcitement followed by the slow decay into blogger apathy.  Therefore, I present you with a new post (in the form of a list of excuses) to sum up the past months and to provide some incentive to check back in a week or so.


Excuses for not blogging:
1. Lots of recording has been happening.  Expect a new song or two from Christie Kelly fairly soon. (an older song of hers can be heard here).  Also been working with Miss Anna Jepson (who just finished up an EP in Nashville that you'll be able to hear in October) on some acoustic/pop stuff.  Amidst all of this, I'm desperately trying to find time to work on some of my own songs.


2. I'm leaving my job at Cephalon and taking a new job at a small nanotech company in State College as a research chemist.  Consequently, I also just bought a condo up there.  Interviewing and buying a house take up a substantial amount of time.


3. I'm going to Austria in a few hours.  I guess I can't honsetly say this has taken up a lot of time...planning the trip has pretty much taken a back seat to everything else.  I at least know that I'm flying into and out of Vienna.  We'll see what happens during the five days in between.  And therein lies your incentive to check back in a week or so;  I'll have taken lots of pictures and hopefully have some interesting stories of singing Edelweiss with Heidi in the Alps.
